Inova-Ria promotes International Mission to Aveiro Region

Inova-Ria promotes an International Mission to the Aveiro Region, within the Portuguese HUB ICT Project, funded by COMPETE 2020, Portugal 2020 and the EU, developed in cooperation with Fraunhofer Portugal. This Mission, which will take place between May 2nd and 4th, will focus on the contact with institutions and companies that develop innovative technology, applied to Digital Communities.

Visits to the Ecosystem of technological innovation in the Aveiro region are expected during this Mission, which will allow the participants to get to know relevant entities, their initiatives, solutions and real cases of technology application in an urban context. Also this week, the Conference "Digital Communities Meeting" will take place on May 3, 2023, in Águeda and will have a panel of national and international speakers. Topics such as "Governance of Communities", "Education, Creativity and Technology", "Digital Rights" and "Mobility of People and Bits" will be discussed at this event, which brings together speakers and experts from Portugal, Europe and Brazil, and seeks to reflect and make known the best concepts and examples related to Smart Cities.
